Basically Brass is a brass choir comprised of trumpets, french horns, trombones, euphoniums and tubas with the occasional percussion and harp as required by the literature.  

If called for, we will also perform  with vocal groups.

This group of semi-professionals  was  founded in 2010 .

We all hail from the northwest Puget Sound in Washington state and, aside from their ages, have one other thing in common;   

      We share a love for the undeniably mellow sound of blended brass.  

 We perform music of all types and genres.  

Repertoire ranges from the ridiculous to the sublime and include renaissance, baroque, classical, pop, jazz and various ethnic styles.  

Music performed by the group is of the highest quality and brings pleasure to both audience and performers.

The group is dedicated to enriching the communities in which we live.  

We perform for public concerts as well as fundraising activities by charitable organizations when requested.  

Our mission is to share our music and spread the enjoyment of and love for the sound of brass.
